What to expect
To provide the knowledge and understanding of the dangers involved in encountering Asbestos Containing Materials (A.C.M’s).
Information, instruction, and training for asbestos awareness is intended to give delegates the information they need to avoid work that might disrupt or disturb the fabric of a building which may contain ACM’s during any normal work.
HSE guidance: - Workers involved in refurbishment, maintenance and other similar trades, could be at risk of exposure to asbestos during their work. This includes:
Heating and ventilation engineers | Fire and burglar alarm installers

| Cable layers

This course comprises of a safety lecture that will explain all the above content.

Those who are required to carry out their daily tasks in a working environment shared by other employees and/or customers. It is a beneficial course for everyone who may need to react to an emergency situation.
Assessment
The course assessment consists of a theory test paper to confirm the delegates knowledge and understanding

This course lasts approximately ½ day and uses a lecture-based format to engage and inform the delegates
